TRWD Flyfest has something for everyone. Between a rock-climbing wall for the kids and wine and beer for the adults the festival will feature more than rods and reels.
Open Fishing
Bring your own rod and fish along the banks of the Trinity, bait and fly anglers welcome. Fishing license required.

Stocked tank full of fish set up on the lawn with a limited number of kid-sized poles set up for fishing opportunities!

Check out the inside of our Watershed Experience Trailer and learn about where your water comes from. Interactive exhibits and videos inside the trailer enable you to visualize what happens to our water after it rains, and how we are each connected to the water cycle. TRWD’s Environmental Division will demonstrate river health and function, and our role in water stewardship.
